Terroir & Territory

CIVA / Metrolab-UCLouvain / KUL-UCL-ULB Interfaculty Lab in Architecture

CIVA and Metrolab-UCLouvain join efforts in finding links between agriculture and cities, taking the Parisian and 'brusselian' metropolis as a starting point. The event will be a unique opportunity to focus on the diversity and complexity of an agricultural industry in transition, within Brussels metropolis, through its 3 regions. Also, the challenges of agriculture in strongly urbanized territories will be subject to discussion and this in terms of ecological transition, public health and social justice. Afterwards, architecture students of the atelier de recherche "en" et "sur" l'architecture : territoire (LOCI-UCLouvain) will present their projects
