Brussel Fabriek is a collective artwork made up of hundreds of ceramic tiles, specially created by Brussels residents for the opening of Kanal. Each tile embodies a memory, an emotion, a keepsake, an anecdote, or a piece of knowledge. Four colours tie these personal contributions together: orange for emotions, blue for loved ones, cultures and identities, green for objects, and yellow for shared knowledge. Together, the tiles form a colourful map of the city, as told by its residents. A collaboration between Kanal, La Concertation, N22, Atelier des Tropiques and Collectif 10-44.
