Collection services

Kanal and Kanal Architecture are actively invested in making their collections accessible and promoting research and collaboration. They provide support for consultation, digitisation and loans, with clear guidelines and fees. They are also open to donations, long-term loans or recommendations for their collections, always in accordance with the collection policy.

Whether you are a researcher, student, professional or private individual seeking information about your house, your neighbourhood or broader topics, the library and archives at Kanal offer a wide range of resources and services, from document consultation to reproduction.

Below, you will find all the information you need to prepare your research.

Temporary closure of services:
In order to prepare for the transfer of the Kanal Architecture collections to Kanal, the archives and library are closed until the museum opens. In the meantime, you are welcome to consult the online catalogue of the collections.
