The Great Journeys of Plants
This event ran on 03.06.2026. But wait, there's always more at Kanal! Check out the calendar.
Plants often carry stories of long journeys. Some have travelled from far away, while others gradually found their place here, carried by the wind, by animals or by people.

During this activity, children will explore the garden as a landscape of stories and discoveries: observing, imagining the paths plants may have taken, and inventing their own tales about these surprising migrations. But how do plants find their place in cities and gardens? By drawing, assembling and creating with natural elements, children will explore the connections between nature, urban landscapes and the movement of living things. A playful way to understand that gardens—just like cities—are shaped by encounters and journeys.
Parents are welcome! An admission ticket will be waiting for every parent or accompanying adult who would like to discover the Migration Museum. 1 child = 1 free ticket for 1 accompanying adult. Any additional accompanying adults must pay for admission.
