"A Bunch of Questions with No Answers is a 23-hour-long film that compiles the questions journalists have been asking the US Department of State since 3 October 2023 regarding the ongoing genocide in Palestine. We chose to omit the vague and convoluted answers these journalists received in response to their relentless requests for clarification and accountability. The film ends with the final press conference under the Biden administration, just before the Department's temporary closure following Trump's inauguration." Alex Reynolds and Robert M Ochshorn, 2025

A Bunch of Questions with No Answers compiles all the questions about Palestine that journalists asked during US State Department press briefings between 3 October 2023 and the final briefing of Joe Biden's administration in 2025, shortly before Donald Trump's inauguration. The film's running time of 22 hours and 52 minutes corresponds exactly to the combined duration of the questions. All official responses have been omitted by the artists, creating a portrait of journalists who continue to seek clarity, accountability and legal explanations from a state apparatus that consistently evades them.

The film constitutes a rare archive of events in Gaza over a period of 15 months. Filming began before Hamas's attacks on Israel on 7 October 2023, which emphasises that the violence faced by Palestinians under occupation has been ongoing for decades. The work shows how 'red lines' were repeatedly crossed and how justifications that directly contravene international law were consistently called into question.

The first full screening of A Bunch of Questions with No Answers took place at Kanal-Centre Pompidou during MolenFest 2025, as part of a 23-hour public programme developed in collaboration with the artists.
