A Rooftop Meadow
This event ran on 25.06.2023. But wait, there's always more at Kanal! Check out the calendar.
In the heart of a highly built-up block, some inspired architects, LPP Architects, have transformed their roof into a terrace with a meadow at its heart, designed by landscape architect Marguerite Ferry. Using the Japanese principle of shakei or borrowed landscape, the rare trees surrounding the roof terrace are incorporated here. The result is a feeling of sitting atop the trees.
