Valentina Magaletti & Loraine James

Thrice marks the very first collaboration between London-based musicians Valentina Magaletti and Loraine James. Across three movements, they explore memory as something that is constantly in motion. Piano, percussion, voice, trombone, drums and electronics become vessels for fragments of remembered experience. Material is repeated, distorted and rediscovered as memories appear to take shape in real time. From a queer perspective, Thrice asks us to consider what we keep, lose or reconstruct when there is no fixed record of the past.
