This event ran on 30.06.2024. But wait, there's always more at Kanal! Check out the calendar.

A water power sprung from the Earth by chance, a puddle that became a lake, a refuge for wildlife, this wild spot is none other than the Wiels Marsh!

Occupied for a hundred years by the brewing industry, today this ‘Garden of Fairies’ is lovingly maintained by citizens who care for it, defend it, cherish it and preserve it.

A memorial to the Brussels landscape, the Wiels Marsh is a communal space that reduces tensions, spreads knowledge and represents a social and environmental innovation. It is a place of salvation.

Come and discover it, and a Fairy will tell you the story of their garden!
