From the opening until the end of 2028, WERKER Collective will host a cooperative print room at Kanal, next to the iconic showroom. A space for collaboration and co-creation that doubles as a meeting place, library and workshop. Local organisations and other groups are welcome to explore printing techniques like risography, woodcut and screen printing, and to reflect on social, political and emancipatory themes.

From the opening until the end of 2028, WERKER Collective hosts a cooperative print room at Kanal, next to the iconic showroom. It will be a space for collaboration and co-creation that doubles as a meeting place, library and workshop for risography, woodcut and screen printing.
WERKER’s print room wants to establish a cooperative publishing platform to support independent initiatives, embrace collective authorship and self-representation, and promote the fair distribution of resources and revenue. Through self-publishing and collective study, it aims to stimulate a political imagination that emancipates, inviting local organisations and groups to work, think and produce together. Social solidarity, housing justice, (domestic) worker rights, queer emancipation and the rights of non-normative families are among the many potential topics to be explored.
