Léonard Pongo divides his time between Belgium and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). After studying political and social sciences, he began his career as a documentary photographer and gradually expanded his practice to include instant and abstract photography, video, installations and woven works. The DRC, with its daily life, traditions and representations, is central to his work.
