Maarten Vanden Eynde studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, the MSA Mountain School of Arts in Los Angeles and the HISK in Ghent. He lives and works in Brussels and Saint-Mihiel. In his work, he explores topics like sociology, anthropology, marine biology and cosmology. He uses his research to subvert received ideas and make changes in society visible.
