Sirah Foighel Brutmann & Eitan Efrat

Sirah Foighel Brutmann and Eitan Efrat live in Brussels and create work at the intersection of film, installation and performance. They explore how moving and still images are experienced in space and time, and how cultural and political contexts shape our gaze. Their work demonstrates how material, technological and ideological factors play a role in the creation of images and links personal narratives to broader social and infrastructural issues. Their long-standing commitment to the struggle of the Palestinian people and their support for the BDS movement are also integral to their practice.
