Sven Augustijnen lives and works in Brussels. He is a founding member of the Brussels-based platform Auguste Orts, which produces and distributes films and videos. With his films, publications and installations on political, historical and social themes, he challenges the documentary genre. He also has a keen interest in historiography and how history is constructed through stories, images and fabrications.
