This spring, KANAL-Centre Pompidou welcomes the first Brussels edition of the Dream City festival. Founded by dancers Selma and Sofiane Ouissi in 2007, this independent event takes place every two years in the Medina of Tunis.  An artistic hub between the Arab world, Africa, and Europe, Dream City addresses current issues such as migration, emancipation, human rights, and the climate.

Dance, circus, music, theatre, debate, film and festivities: from 3 to 7 September, Molenbeek's streets and squares will breathe MolenFest once more! From La Grande Halle via the Vaartkapoen to Lion City, from Serge Aimé Coulibaly over Sound of Brussels Orchestra to Laure Prouvost and Singing Molenbeek: for five memorable days, the festival will celebrate the neighbourhood’s solidarity (Sadaka!), sweeping aside all prejudices and clichés.
