ConnectLAA – enhance knowledge and exchange

Kanal Architecture is a member of ConnectLAA, a European research and collaboration network, running from October 2024 to October 2028 under the EU-funded COST Programme. The project brings together landscape architecture professionals, researchers, educators and archivists to develop an accessible, interconnected network of European Landscape Architecture archives.

The initiative aims to establish a pan-European platform for knowledge exchange in Landscape Architecture.

Expected outcomes include:

  • the creation of a digital platform connecting Landscape Architecture archives and collections across Europe;
  • the development of a multilingual thesaurus and shared archival standards;
  • strengthened European collaboration in heritage preservation, education and research;
  • enhanced public access to Landscape Architecture heritage, supporting civic engagement and cultural awareness.
