Institution Building - Chapter 1: Format
This event ran from 02.09.2021 to 09.09.2021. But wait, there's always more at Kanal! Check out the calendar.
A multitude of practices and formats traditionally remain unseen prior to the opening of an exhibition. “Format,” part 1 of “Institution Building”, makes visible what is usually hidden: maintenance, installation, inventories, fire-escape routes, schedules, budgets, organigrams—understanding them as productive and creative tools for an institution in transformation.
