Anne-Mie Van Kerckhoven

Anne-Mie Van Kerckhoven (AMVK) is a key figure in the Belgian art world and a pioneer in the use of technology in art. Since the late 1970s, she has been working on an extensive body of work in various media: drawings, collages, paintings and videos. Her art is very diverse, but also instantly recognisable: colourful, complex, feminist and outspoken in its social criticism. Music also features prominently in her art. Together with her partner Danny Devos she formed the band Club Moral, which has become a household name in Antwerp's experimental music scene.
