Interview with Hélène Amouzou
Hélène Amouzou studied photography and video at the Academy of fine arts in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean. She has lived and worked in Brussels since 2004. Her artistic journey is rooted in the city and reflects her experience migrating from Togo to Belgium. In her work, she broaches themes of displacement, identity and cultural belonging and shows the psychological aspects of migration that often go unnoticed.
