Kanal is not only a building a museum, but also a sound. Online community radio Kiosk proved the perfect partner to help broadcast it into Brussels and beyond. For the Outsiders series, once a month on Sunday mornings, Kanal invites over an artist for a one-hour set: a new composition, a mix, an interview.

Brighten your days with the sounds of the Buenos Aires underground. This set brings together studio recordings, bootlegs and rarities pulled from the impressive sound archive of Jugo de Basura, a camp rock band from Greater Buenos Aires.

Ranging from collaborations with underground bands like Racha, Purpubel, Simplejo and Problemas de Gente Blanca to covers, demos and acoustic live sessions by Jugo de Basura themselves, the music is enveloped in performative and aesthetic elements in which punk rock and melodrama coexist in sensual (dis)harmony.

This session is a collaboration between artist, archivist, designer and full-time punk Jael Caiero and Ad Minoliti, guest artist of the 2025 Brussels Ass Book Fair.
