Kanal is not only a building a museum, but also a sound. Online community radio Kiosk proved the perfect partner to help broadcast it into Brussels and beyond. For the Outsiders series, once a month on Sunday mornings, Kanal invites over an artist for a one-hour set: a new composition, a mix, an interview.

At Kanal-Centre Pompidou, Assemble Studio is landscaping a playground that evokes volcanoes and distant planets. This hour-long programme traces moments of release, energy, curiosity and slowness in an attempt to reflect on the diverse and inquisitive nature of children's play. Founded in London in 2010, Assemble's practice spans urban regeneration, cultural spaces, participatory design and play. Working closely with local communities, they are recognised for their experimental and context-savvy approach, as well as their commitment to rethinking architectural practices.
