Kanal is not only a building a museum, but also a sound. Online community radio Kiosk proved the perfect partner to help broadcast it into Brussels and beyond. For the Outsiders series, once a month on Sunday mornings, Kanal invites over an artist for a one-hour set: a new composition, a mix, an interview.

Atelier Brenda is the collaborative alter ego and brainchild of designers Nana Esi and Sophie Keij. Brenda’s journeys are in constant flux. Known for her eclectic work across rambling cultural scenes, she writes her own story, working with a wide range of artists, musicians and cultural institutions, and finding new roots in long-term collaborations with partners like Stroom, Damien and The Love Guru and Beursschouwburg.

Pastiche Pistache presents Brenda's Spring/Summer ‘25 DIY B-side floppy: two breezing horses crossing each other on a cobbled trail, set against a backdrop of moody, bubbly samples and school’s-out nostalgia. Think rocky beaches, salty sunsets, lost wallets, bird droppings, liquid intoxication, wild geese and geckos.
