Kanal is not only a building a museum, but also a sound. Online community radio Kiosk proved the perfect partner to help broadcast it into Brussels and beyond. For the Outsiders series, once a month on Sunday mornings, Kanal invites over an artist for a one-hour set: a new composition, a mix, an interview.

Mona Filleul works in Brussels and Paris. Her practice combines painting, sculpture and assemblage. Being closely involved with the queer community, her playful and intimate projects grow into forms of queer resistance and resilience. A day after Valentine's Day – and in keeping with tradition – her mix is an ode to her friends and loved ones.
