Laure Prouvost & Singing Molenbeek
For MolenFest, Laure Prouvost & Singing Molenbeek prepared a choreographed walk along the canal, which sees the children singing, drumming and waving flags.
Along the way, they will sing (and share) happy words, personal stories and messages of hope. The merry parade starts at Molenbeek’s Municipal Hall and ends at K1. Come join the walk or cheer them on!
Visual artist Laure Prouvost has been residing in the heart of Molenbeek for some years now, where she connected with Singing Molenbeek, a children's project launched in 2014 that aims to encourage children to try their hand at singing without any prior musical training. Laure Prouvost has integrated the choir in several of her performances and videos.
