A DIFFERENT NORTH

In this 12-hour-long performance, 360 handmade compasses are meticulously placed on lines drawn on the floor with adhesive tape. They all align to indicate the Magnetic North. But our bodies are magnetic fields too, and they make the needles turn. Is North a geographical position or a direction? An identity or an orientation? The politics of the North are embedded in us and in the actions we take.
