That That. Reappropiating the Citroën Bilboard with three works

She reappropriated the former Citroën Garage by using the sign on the roof of the showroom, to create her progressive and performative installation That That. Reappropriating the Citroën Billboard with three works, which questions the underlying political stakes and the relationship between the building and the public space. She performs a two-stage purification ritual first repainting the whole sign black, as if to mark the pause and the transformation of the building. Although her intention (given away by the title of the installation) was to cover the three sides of the sign with other works, Lazara Rosell Albear finally decided to cover one single side with a scaled up non-figurative photograph.
