NOCTURNES FOR A SOCIETY
Myriam Van Imschoot & Lucas van Haesbroeck
Nocturnes for a society is an immersive sound experience that spans a whole night and is centred on the audience. Myriam Van Imschoot and Lucas van Haesbroeck create an environment that is both tactile and sonic, luminous and obscure, and that challenges our habits of perception. Like the pioneering composer and sound activist Pauline Oliveros—to whom this performance is dedicated—the artists believe in the unifying vitality of multiple voices.
