Kanal will open on 28 November 2026

In exactly 557 days, Kanal will open its doors! Together, Kanal-Centre Pompidou and CIVA will turn the former Citroën garage into a living museum. From 28 November 2026 onwards, you’ll able to discover the new museum's 40 000 m2 in all its glory. With new spaces for exhibitions, performance, dance, music and film; with impressive archives, collections and a library; with a café, restaurant, bakery and rooftop bar... Can't wait? Come get a sneak peek of the building this Sunday during the Open Construction Site Day. The artistic programme of the opening will be announced in January 2026.
