Leaving Living Dakota
Museum Night Fever
On the occasion of Museum Night Fever, Brussels collective Leaving Living Dakota takes over K1 for a festive night of art and music by DJs Gomar, Renoi Terrible, Golce, and Cõvco. The collective, comprising Wutangu and Golce Dabbana (among others), offers, a space and an experience where queer and POC artists can express themselves freely.
Discovery of the exhibition Kinshasa (N)Tóngá - between Future and Dust with our guides and mediators present in the exhibition space.
The pop-up bar of K1 is entrusted to Gia Abrassart, independent journalist and activist who has been running Café Congo, an artistic, feminist, decolonial and queer third place for 4 years. For the exhibition Kinshasa (N)Tóngá , she offers her incredible expertise on products and drinks from Congo and shares with us her love for ginger, bissap and natural wines.
