Mega Mingiedi's oeuvre combines graphic poetry, collage, architectural drawing and cartography.

Although at first glance his drawings depict the physical, visible urban reality of Kinshasa, they also reveal a second, invisible city, reality hidden beneath the surface.

The artist highlights the contrast between the city's enigmatic buildings and slums punctuated with references to its economy, corruption, ecological potential and hope for the future.
