KANAL takes part in « Still Standing for Culture »

Because culture is not “non-essential”.

Because culture is essential for our emancipation as citizens and as people.

Because culture creates togetherness in a world that is more divided than ever.

Because culture provides necessary social connection.

Because culture as a sector provides a living for tens of thousands.

Because culture is more than “just” museums.

Because we need each other.

For all these reasons, KANAL takes part in Still Standing for Culture. On Saturday 20 February, we will make the showroom - where the It Never Ends project is currently running - available to artists and the cultural sector to jointly advocate the demand for a general reopening of the cultural sector.
