What if, in the wake of this health crisis, we only kept what was best: intimacy.
A special moment, a moment out of time, an interlude … A tête-à-tête with a work of art! Depending on the type of contemplative you are, you can choose to sit on a stool, chair or cushion. After 15 minutes, your contemplation will be interrupted, but the exchange will continue with an actor who will talk to you about the work, the artist and its relation to the world. An intimate theatre experience that respects social distancing measures without distancing us socially and intellectually.

Tous les jeudis soirs, les visites DISCO de 45 minutes. Faire découvrir l'exposition en mettant en exergue les œuvres emblématiques de l'artiste et ensuite permettre au public de continuer la soirée au café de KANAL, où le décor imaginé par le designer Stéphane Barbier Bouvet est non sans rappeler les bars genevois que fréquente John M Armleder.

Every Sundays, between 15:00 and 16:00, we invite families to discover Kanal – Centre Pompidou.
For children, accompanied by an adult, we propose a creative itinerary.
While the children are busy with some fun seek-and-draw missions, the accompanying parents learn more about the works on display from the guide.

Twice a month, on every first and third Friday of the month at 15:00, our mediators present their favourite works. Not in the way a guide would, but from their own perspective, based on their experience with and fondness for the works in the rooms.

Heritage days
The 15th September and 16th September Brussels organizes its Heritage Days. The ideal weekend to visit Kanal! The former Citroën garage is nothing if not an iconic place in Brussels. Therefore, as a special offer during the Heritage Days, Kanal proposes the public to visit the building with a guide. The tour focuses on the architectural beauty and history of the building, its implantation in the canal zone and its future.
