Unsettled Study
A.PASS
22/03/2019 — 23/03/2019
‘Unsettled Study’ will invite the audience to witness and join the multitude of research processes currently hosted by the A.pass platform for artistic research.
For several years, A.pass platform for artistic research has periodically engaged with a research environment called Settlement proposed and facilitated by Vladimir Miller. This project continues to ask at what spatial,
performative and institutional conditions is it possible to step into and share an artist's research process as it is happening.

16/03/2019 — 17/03/2019
Mon réveil me réveille (2017)
Our day starts as soon as we wake up and lasts until we fall asleep. These two extremes align the primal unity of our lifetime. The idea of realizing these two ends in a short lapse of time and of questioning the act of awaking from sleep as an artificial force is the inspiration behind this work.
To indicate the process of time and to ritualize everday movements, this living installation creates a situation in which an artist sleeps with an alarm clock until she is woken by the alarm, repeatedly.

MONUMENTAL
15/03/2019 — 17/03/2019
For several years, visual artist Jocelyn Cottencin has been conducting a reflection on form, image, signs and space through recurrent themes such as the group and the community.
For his projects he uses installations, film, graphic design, performances and the book. Quite logically, Monumental is a project that moves borders.
Monumental seeks to activate a visual and collective memory originating in representations of our history, in particular the history of art, or media and contemporary events.

0.KANAL
20/03/2019
How can dance and architecture create a new kind of space together? During Performatik19, choreographer Radouan Mriziga will install a residency project at KANAL–Centre Pompidou.
Using Bauhaus as a pedagogical model, he seeks to establish a contemporary educational practice that reformulates the models of space. He is inviting dance and architecture students to share their knowledge and practice. Projecting the resulting questions onto the surrounding workspace will create a new way of thinking and feeling space.

Une incursion / one foray
26/01/2019 — 27/01/2019
During a short moment, Une incursion / one foray proposes a choreographic landscape that involves light, space, the body and sound.
The performers invokes an imaginary landscape inspired by Vendredi ou les limbes du pacifique, Michel Tournier’s novel about Robinson Crusoe. In a state of intense mental activity and increased alert, the body opens itself up to sensations specific to the conjured images. The body does not evolve as an idea of self-representation or self-expression, but rather becomes a living landscape.

Clara Guémas
Oooa
16/09/2018 — 17/09/2018
For several years, Clara Guémas has been developing her work as an artist and choreographer in prisons. She examines the restrained and controlled life of the prisoners, and the place of the body in isolated spaces. In the first cycle of her choreographic research into the concept of freedom (2012-2018), she works on the topic of 'memory', which throws a glance at both the past and the future, between retrospection and projection.

OONA DOHERTY
HOPE HUNT AND THE ASCENSION INTO LAZARUS
10/11/2018 — 11/11/2018
In a delivery area, a parked car blasts tracks mixed by a DJ who opens a trap door through which Oona Doherty emerges from the vehicle. The artist launches into a first hip-hop solo. Interacting with the audience, the choreographer and performer ushers the spectators through the building, leading them to another stage, where a second solo takes place.
In this double solo titled Hope Hunt and the Ascension into Lazarus, the artist Oona Doherty moves through the space with her hair pulled back and dressed in baggy hip-hop clothes that conceal the gender of whoever is wearing them.

THE GREAT OUTDOORS
22/11/2018 — 25/11/2018
Under an inflatable planetarium that reconstitutes a digital cosmos, 50 spectators are invited to immerse themselves in a visual and musical score. Volatile texts drawn from the Internet galaxy (social networks, forums, platforms, chats, blogs) are sequenced by an algorithm. The actress-performer, equipped with her mind, voice and body, answers as best she can to the uncontrollable flow of abstract or anecdotal signals she perceives. As always in the work of Annie Dorsen, a central question underlies the beauty of this immersive performance.

DANIEL LINEHAN/ HIATUS
MEDIUM MEDIUM
06/10/2018 — 07/10/2018
07/10/2018 — 08/10/2018
In Medium Medium, Linehan takes the audience on a guided tour in which he creates a performative dialogue between selected artworks on view and his own artistic work. The artworks speak to him, and he speaks back to them through the medium of dance. He also brings along his 2013 book, A No Can Make Space, and recites poetic fragments from the book, so the “speaking” becomes quite literal.
